Welcome to Nelms Creekmur Forge in the Lake Claire neighborhood of Atlanta, Georgia. For years I have been working with stone, wood and metal, and my ten years of living among the wrought iron entrance gates and balconies of Milan, Italy have certainly influenced my metalwork. At my forge I heat metal to a bright orange color and then hammer, taper, twist, and scroll it to make fire boxes, fire pokers, jewelry, and custom projects. My goal is to combine practical sensibility and a simple elegance to create metalwork items that you will enjoy for a lifetime.
